We see the common trends and lifestyle of the modern-day church and the lifestyle of the 21st century, there is a thread that links the church to the world, and this link ought to be undiluted and sacred. There are trends around, and it has been applied by the people of the outside world. This rule their affairs and how they live in terms of relationships, work life, moral standards and how money is handled.
Because the church is
God's house and only he knows the blueprint for its construction, the church's
structure is divine, and every circumstance related to its expansion must be
guided by the knowledge of God. Unfortunately, the picture of God is no longer
included in the construction of his house, and what do I mean by this? The
original mandate of his building has been forgotten, and yet another blueprint has
been introduced that doesn't express the image of God. They all claimed the way
of God is outdated and can't be evaluated as anything tangible, yet once again,
the concept of "faith" has found its way to the pit and is covered
with dirty mud of disbelief and self-dependence.
The church now mic-mic
the strategy of the world, claiming it's the recent wisdom to bring the church
forward. Little do we know that once the church adopts the world's wisdom, the Lord
loses hold of his building to the devil, and the lives of individuals under the
covering become at risk of deceptions and lies. Power belongs to the church, and
we have a problem seeing its insight and knowing fully what we must submit to
once it is discovered. Now we have an issue of submission to the ultimate God to
guide us into breakthrough as a body. Still, instead, we preach a sense of freedom
that promotes self-dependency, therefore, deriving powers from the soul realm
to push forward the church. No wonder the church has been normalized to be a
worship center where we come and connect on a business ground, less of prayer
but much of rejoicing and singing and exchanging numbers to satisfy further our
selfishness and a platform for so much corruption. How did we get here?? How do
we become so common? We used to be sacred. How did we become one who has lost their
light?
"I am" is what
the Lord says he is, and he will continue to transform throughout our lifetime
and as the earth remains. His operations in the church find expression through
his word, which is characteristic of what he says.
"As for God, His way
is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to
all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him. (AMP ) Ps 18:30"
"He is [earnestly]
mindful of His covenant and forever it is imprinted on His heart, the word
which He commanded and established to a thousand generations," Ps 105:8 (AMP).
The word of the Lord
comes with so much potency that it is established even unto a thousand
generations. This shows the relevance of his word in the coming age, and the
magnitude remains the same as when he spoke it; why? Because, in his word, is diversification,
it expresses how dynamic it came to ensure it comes to pass. This is the word of
God and it is likened to him, he is always trending in every generation and
diversity of wisdom he manifest through his word ." but
the Word of the Lord will last forever. And his message is the Good News that
was preached to you. (1 Peter 1:25 )TLB".
This is the message the
church should hold on to that His word will never see and will always be fresh across
generations and civilizations, not outdated but transformational when applied
in our everyday life. In this way, when we hold unto his word, we also become
as relevant as his word and the wisdom of God becomes established in us.
We should no longer do as
the heathens operate but walk according to the word of God that we derive
through seeking to not give the devil a foothold in our premises, just like the
apostle of old implemented. It is time to advertise his word and live as it is.
It is time for the church to arise and gain power and operate in the authority of
the word of the Lord to experience true freedom and express purity and holiness.
Shalom
